Well mosied on down about 6ish, the area near the wall has certainly turned into a jungle, and the track along the bottom has turned in to goat teritory since the water rise.

Saw a fair bit of surface action, so worked a popper all along the front until I caught up with the boys near the wall. Stayed there for a while, changed over to diving lures, then spinnerbaits, not a touch. The other fella's headed off to Bullockies, I worked my way back towards track from the rear car park working a spinnerbait. Not even a touch. Had a yarn with the bait fisho's on the way back (quite a few of them with set rods). It was pretty quiet for them as well, one had caught one small yella on a live shrimp.

Tally for day - 1 brown snake 0 fish!

yeah it is jungle there at the moment...Only thing i seem to find there are brown snakes too! :ohmy:

Got there about 5.30, met up with Hulk, good to meet you mate, then headed down through the jungle along some goat track to find Ash, near the wall, tried lots of different lures at lots of different depths with no luck. Then Feral came along too, good to meet you too mate, had a bit of a chinwag then Ash, Hulk & I headed over to Bullocky's for another hour or so with no luck.

Caught no fish, had a strike from a yella at my feet, lost 2 spinnerbaits and a Tazzie Devil. Still was a fun day out.

Ash, Mangler And Feral,

Pleasure to finally meet you all.Not much water action but still a pleasant time.I do have to get my fitness up though as I reckon I was blowing harder than those lungfish with all that steep terrain.

I always find it good to have a chinwag about :fishing:and life in general and it was good to get some info on the fun times which can be had at the camps etc.

Will be sure to do it again sometime.I think I may bring some bait insurance next time especially seeing how close that yella came to your feet Mangler. He'll be ours next time.:cheer:
