"Quickie" at Kingfisher Bay Resort

Off the jetty at Kingfisher Resort.

Up at Fraser for 3 day weekend to attend a wedding.

Couldnt miss an opportunity.

Got the zzzzzzzzzzz...... ping! heaps of times, some bigger fish about....:woohoo:

There were yellowtail kings cruising about under the jetty as well!

Extra was a couple of good size butter bream worked out from under the jetty.

All caught on soft plastics.

Awesome session for about 2 hours, incoming tide at dawn. No smiles, as I got up at 4.00am, after being on the sauce, Friday night...but I was stoked at lunchtime when fresh Trev and Flathead got cooked up. Rocket - was waiting for the rod to snap at one point.

Next time I think heavier gear is in order. Coupla young fellas on Sunday mid morning were using gear for Mackerel / tuna and had out whole garfish as bait...

Well done mate ... im heading up to harvey bay for the new years with the family and we are going to do a couple of trips over to Fraser so i just might have to try around that area
