YES - First Lure Catch!

And it too as about time.

I caught this little flathead down in tallebudgera creek Saturday morning working my 4inch nuclear chicken minnow along the rock bar near the bridge.

I was throwing it up against the current and working it back toward the rock ledge i was standing on. I got him on about the 4th cast, i was really excited even tho he was a little bit small i forgot to measure him!

Now i have broken the seal im looking forward to many more!

I havent caught anything on a sp yet but i have caught loads on hard bodies. I cant wait till my first sp fish. Well done

Good on yer, the first one is a real thrill!

I nearly crapped myself when I got my first. Saw a horrible looking bright orange soft plastic in my sons "$10" fully equipped from Kmart tackle box, wondered what these soft plastics would swim like.

So I put it on and had a cast. Didn't see what it swum like, 3 cranks and a 45cm bass belted it. I squealed like a little girly!
