prob is more rain is coming over the next few weeks

was cast netting aquairim passage the other day

wasn't worth a pinch of salt hey

too much fresh, they go hiding in the mangroves and such,

night time fishin should be ok newstead to the mouth

lower regions with be full of catties for a bit i think

Yep,

Think it's gunna be a while before much is biting in the rivers. I took the train from Nerang to Bris and back today (not by choice). Brisbane River is by far the most affected. Can't image there being much biting around the city stretch by the colour and amount of rubbish in the water.

Also noticed that there seems to be a lot of erosion between the train bridge and the Southbank bridge (whatever they are called) on the north side of the river. Lots of mangroves roots exposed etc... Or is that how it normally is?

Hope we get some fishing in soon. Probably only good for catties and rays at the moment.

a few years back use to be these old italians

fishin at newstead most arvo's when melits bait and tackle shop was at brekky creek

they reckon they were good eatin :blink: bugger that i'd rather eat bream

or even an old boot:laugh:

just happend to be the week before holidays:(. It was acutally that bad that a creek that i have been trying to fish (fresh water) has now completely changed its shape, there is steep drop offs, big banks of liek gravel now even rapids. Hopefully the fish are still around there and havevnt been washed down.
