rescue injured pelicans and other seabirds

ones with line tangles annoys me folks

discarding there line, lazy stuff take it home u dills

and also ones that been injured etc

i saw a pigeon get tangled up in some line, i think the line was around the head and feet cos you can see it desperately gasping for air then just putting its head back into the water. 5 mins of casting and no luck, it seemed like it just gave up and floated away with its head under water.

I have had open season on shags for quite a while now and still yet to catch one!

seems like just anotherbleeding heart cause. Time, money and resources could be spend better elsewhere. Like helping people based causes. ie underprivilaged children, abuse victims ect ect.

At least i thing it has going for it is the time, money and resources are staying in Australia.

I say help your own before sending stuff overseas.

What ever floats peoples boats I reckon, they do their bit to make a difference, well good on em! There are so many different things that are worthwhile that only get done because people care about a pet subject and do something about it. 99% of it wouldn't interest me at all, but without people and their pet causes the world would sure be a sterile and stark place!

For me - Instead of dropping 20 on a nag at eagle farm, slinging a few bucks towards one of these mobs might just make me feel a bit better than donating to the bookies!

i have four kids, they luv the pelicans and other

critters, one reason i feel strongly about it too

anyways the organisation are just oridinary folk who want to help injured

animals, is that being a nut bag? nopes

and their not against fishin folk, i'm a fishin bloke myself

seems to me being caring and giving a toss

doesnt count these days'

pity a few didnt give a toss these days
