Sea anchor

What length should a sea anchor be set at cheers

I don't think it really matters as long as its not ridiculously short causing it to blow out on waves. I just set it at a convenient length where it won't get in the way of fishing.

Pretty much spot on there I think. Short enough so its not in the way when fishing, but long enough so any pitch or roll of the boat does not adversely affect the angle it is dragging through the water at.

I have one for my boat and from memory its only on about 7m of rope, but I made sure my attachment point is as close to water as possible to minimise the angle of the dangle... so to speak!
