queensland Noosa Fishing Report 09

Fished the Noosa River over the weekend with Plastics on the light spin gear!

12 Jewies (40cm to 50cm)

2 Jacks (biggest going 43cm)

Trevally, Bream, flathead,cod and heaps and heaps of Tarpon, and way too many Bust off's

Some really good fish there mate. Sounds like a cracker trip and nice pics too.

obviously the noosa river is fishing very well at the moment

it started firing up towards the end when i was that in january

Yeah it tends to fire up there as soon as the school holidays are over - all the additional boat traffic over xmas and new years always puts the fish off... so you usually find just after they all return to school and the boat traffic dies off, the place fires!!
