upper bremer river???

i was going to explore the upper bremer river as i recall when i was young my dad caught a nice bass at one mile , just wondering if anyone still chase the bass out there ??

mate i've wanting to do the same thing for ages but havent got around to it

i heard of bass caught there only last year so it might be worth a look

going to head out there tomorrow or wednesday and search a few spots i have picked from google , there is alot of skinny water and rocky pools and actually a nice looking section behind west ippy there worth a paddle!!! might find they dont get the pressure like brisbane river bass , might be easier to tempt with a lure!!!

Be sure to let us know how you go wesfish - would like to give that strecth a hit again! Fished up behind the scout den (Leichhardt I think it is)about 5 years ago - found a nice clear pool - no bass but the huge carp were all sitting on the surface in the shade of a large tree. Provided a bit of fun anyway tempting them to a bait.
