New daiwa rod and reel

Hey just a quick question. What does anyone think of the daiwa cy. 4000 on the new daiwa tierra rod. Rod is medium - heavy 7" one piece 8 - 17 pound line capability. The reel will have 12 pound nitlon braid. Any advice? or is this a good combo to purchase?. Its for the bay, for snapper and also the brizzy river for some threddy's.

i dont know what the reel is but the tierra rod is sso good my friend has got one and it opperates nicely the guys said that thats the rod he uses for eustary but he also uses for wahoo so its a great rod

he got his rod from bcf with a daiwa exceller real for 250 as a combo im pretty sure

A 2500 Size reel with 12 -15 lbs has more than enough line and drag pressure for Bay snapper.

A 4000 is more suited to Tuna and off shore for the extra line capacity

Casting a 4000 size reel all day will be a nightmare

can you believe i bought a rod and reel a few days ago, cant bloody remember what it was now, to lazy to go look, seems ok though. old fellas disease!
