queensland Colleges fishing on weekend

hey guys

Richard (Lt obvious) and i headed out to colleges saturday night and most of sunday this weekend in search of some bream,mullet,gar,catties,and pretty much anything really.

Well.. we got down to Colleges at about 6:30 and didnt have much luck at all catching a few tiny catties and thats about it.

After 2 hours or so, we decided to change spots and headed out to a pontoon somewhere close by. Stayed there for anothe hour and still didnt do to well with richard catching a cattie about 30cm and myself catching a turtle.

We decided to finish up...

The next morning.. we headed back out to colleges, but this time tryed near the bridge which loooked better. once again the day started off slow with heaps of bites but no hook up, after a few hours richard managed to catch the first bream of the day being about 20cm. we then fished that same spot for the next 2-3 hours.

Richard ended up catching 2 small bream and a eel, and i caught a eel,turtle, and a spangled perch.

All in all.. it was a fun weekend even with little success.
