mills if your going down saterday try work the incoming tide till about 10:30 at the mouth of boggy creek work the sand flats for flatty. casting on to the dry sand work lure into the water.then try the rock wall oppisite side of lugage point .with that good clean water pushing up at the mouth with an hour to go to top of tide you should hook up to squire and hopfully pull a feed.work the wall till dirty water moves back through then pritty much call it as the cattys tend to move through after that but good luck and hope the weather holds off.

Wind and chop is OK as long as it isnt a really long paddle. A couple of km is fine. Any thoughts on good spot to put in - I'd be south side of the river but driving. Think I'd prefer somewhere probably on the bay side of gateway.

Otherwise I have to pay two tolls to the gateway benevelent fund (and put in at pinkenba).

Quick follow up - gave up on Boggy Creek until I knew more about the oil spill. Used the same ramp though but headed toward the bay rather than to the River. Caught a heap of small breambos on the sand/mud flats heading out toward Green Island, and a heap of small flatties in the mangroves on the way back toward the Port Of Brisbane. Nothing legal, all returned healthy. Fun but no dinner. :(

I'll give Boggy Creek a go tonight a hour before sunset through an hour after low tide.
