hey guys just came back from a morning at Kookaburra Park.

managed to land 4 catties... the last one was a TINY cattie that could fit into my hand...

i hooked him while trying for bream... which unfortunately i didnt catch any...

sadly cattie 1 didnt make it... i unhooked him and threw him back into the river... but for some reason he surfaced belly up a couple of minutes later... =(

but anyway the highlight of the day...

I FOUND MY TT SWITCHBLADE LURE WHICH I LOST THERE LAST WEEK!!!

last saturday i was trying for bream and my TT Switchblade (Brand New) got snagged on the rocks at the base of the pier, and the line snapped... i was pretty upset...

i spent the week coming to terms with it... it wasnt losing the lure that was upsetting... it was the fact that it was freaking brand new...

today when i reached there in the morning it was low tide... so i could see the rocks at the base of the pier...

i looked over to the spot where my blade got snagged... and i saw a familiar yellow line amongst the rocks... so while waiting for the fish to bite, and since the tide was starting to come in, i decided to scramble down to investigate...

i picked up the line and tugged at it, and saw that it was trapped in between to huge rocks... i tried to move the rocks but to no avail...

so i looked around and found a thick twig... and used its end to follow the line down... (similar to the action of a "hook out" gun)...

after a few attempts i felt a pop and there it was... my TT Switchblade... still attached to the end of the line...

it was covered in mud but after some washing and scrubbing all was good...

you can imagine how happy i felt...

WHEE!

nothing worse that losing a lure...especially one that has yet to catch you a fish

Hope you get one on it now!

Rocket

Dunno about that Rocket, once a lure has done a few trips without catching a fish, I am more than happy to see the back of it! Even if I have to through it in myself!
