Short and sweet. Launched at 5.30 finished at 10am when wind got up. 6 bass just legal and 2 bream one 35 the other 39 which I kept as it inhaled the lure and the only pliers that I had were the floating plastic ones which are useless for removing trebles.

All caught casting to bank.

Sweet morning and then snapped up some bargains at logan River Marines sale on way home.

Found out the best way to smuggle new goodies into house is to buy them on the way back from fishing as missus cant tell difference.

Cheers

Ray

Good work !!

Any chance you could tell me where u launched from? maybe a street name?

cheers

Drop off motorway at exit 77 ,proceed on Gooding road to roundabout at Goodings Corner ,third exit to Robina parkway. there are 2 spots I launch from . First one is about 100m before roundabout at Boowaggan Road intersection. There is a low gate in the fence and I just back up to it and slide my yak over the fence its about 40 ft from the water. Nice little clearing in the reeds to launch from and sandy bottom. Other spot is second exit from Boowaggan Rd roundabout there is a dog exercise park there and you can slip yak through bollards to launch. Bank is a bit steep , about 4 ft down to water level but still manageable.

I have heard that there is a spot that you can launch a boat from. Its supposed to be at the side of a servo somewhere but I have never looked for it.

Cheers
