Interstate fish tank transport

I have a 4ft tank stand and hood (with filter heaters etc) At my ex wifes place in Wodonga VIC/NSW border main arterial between Melb and Sydney

Does anyone know of a mob or person that will bring it up here to Brizze so far I've had no luck in finding one

The stand and hood were custom made for the tank by a friend and the tank is secured into the stand with silicone

I would love to get it up here

I don't fancy your luck there Gazz. If you could even find a company that would do it, the cost would outweigh its worth and chances are it will turn up in pieces.

You might be better off cutting the tank away from the stand and sending separately. You might find someone that will do that.

Nice stand and hood though.

they have an online calculator that you enter the dimensions and it gives you a pretty close indication of how much it will cost you. ive sent a rod through them and it was quoted to be delivered in 3days but think it was there within 2 1/2 days in tact. so im very happy with the service they provided

Why not wrap it on a pallet. There is a lot more expensive items going up and down the highway every day. Just make sure it's wrapt and packed well.

Chep pallets are 1120 x 1120 which is prety close to 4" it might just fit on an angle, mark it top load only and send general freight.

Yeh there is a risk but it's all to do with the packaging.

Actually they may be 1160 x 1160 anyway it's close to 4'
