mate,I go there all the time.I mainly use there maps to view different dams.Go to lake kurwongbah map and use the satellite map it gives you a real good look at north pine dam from a birds eye view...

its sort of like google earth...

Gerty, Probably a bit late as this is an old post, but Lake Ainsworth holds Bass. It is at Lennox Head about 20 minutes South of Byron (or 2hrs 20minutes if you get caught in the traffic at the centre of Byron:ohmy: )
