Went to cochroach territory this am with plasticman it was glassed out conditions but a bit tough with the water a bit stirred up from recent rains but we battled on for 9 bass but only 2 were legal they were caught on a variety of blades, jackalls and gulp shrimp on 1/16th. All pretty small only 2 legal 1 high 30's fl and one 30fl when the water clears up a bit more the bigger ones come out to play there the same thing happened to us there last year after the rain. a old local we where chatting to at the ramp said a few bolkes do alright there at night on surface the caretaker got a 48cm out from the ramp a couple weeks ago. we got about 35 bass there in a session last winter on blades so just give the place a few weeks to clear up again and should fire.

first time I fished lighter for bass that way normally around 1/4ounce mate I was working the edge of the lillies like what you do for bream
