i've seen onh a lot of other websites that when a new member joins up there is an \"introduce yourself\" heading on the the forum. i think this would be a good idea as a lot of our new friends seem to dissapear without ever posting or being heard of again. having an introduce yourself heading right at the top of the forum with a link to take them there on the sign up page might encourage some of them to participate from the outset rather than forgeting that theyt signed up on yet aqnother website that they will never return to
