Well another unsuccessful trip last night, tried the creek near visy board factory for around an hour or so and not even the sign of a bite!!! then moved back to the mouth of oxley creek for another 2-3 hours. Few nibbles but not even a catty!!!

Starting to think that I need a boat!

Or need to give up fishing in this river!! :(

dont feel too bad...i get heaps of donuts haha...its even more frustrating when u hook a few fish and get them sooo close...then gone. I was pretty angry yesterday when that happened haha

Mate if you persist off that jetty at Oxley you will get fish. What sort of bait are you using? And where abouts in the water are you fishing, eg, big sinkers or floating or what? Might be able to give you some pointers, so at the very least you can hook a few catties!!

Mate, i'm with you there. Can't remember the last time I caught anything landbased, only ever catch anything when I get the chance to hire a boat with a mate. I'm ready to give up till I get a tinnie, hopefully soon.
