Fish ID Please

Hi all,

When I went out with Dassa on his boat,I caught this little thing.It had a body like a small whiting but a head with a lot of little razor sharp teeth and you may make out,it has an ugly head.He suggests it may have been a sergeant something or rather(sorry dassa if my recollection wasn't correct)

It was caught near cabbage tree point.

I think that Dassa may have said it was a Sergeant Baker, but they're caught offshore mainly
