outgoing or incoming tide?

i notice alot of you fish the outgoing tide mostly? is this a better tide to fish. ciz over here we fish the top of the incoming and the hours outgoing. well not a strict rule but i tend to catch more fish during those periods. thanx all

I usually fish when i can but recently for me its been producing on the first hour of the run in. Before all this rain it was the runout tide. But if the sharks are there they will eat anything no matter what tide it is.

im a fan of the runout i must admit, but mostly i like the 2 hours either side of high or low with a preference to the last of hte runout

I fish all different stages of the tides but in different places. You really have to suss out where you fish and will probably find a prime period for that area. Most times shallow areas fish best on the rising tide, drain areas as it starts to run out then deeper sections toward the bottom is a rough rule of thumb. But like with everything there are always exceptions.

Best bet is if you get the chance to go fishing just go and keep a log so you can work it out over time.

i prefer the low tide coming in thats were i get most of my catch,i just think the fish come in to see what the tide has left for them to feed on.
