chased some pelagics saturday morning going was slow near the seaway but after the pumping jetty it got a lot better. got enough yakkas and slimies for live bait and tried keeping them up to the mack tuna. landed 6 mack tuna around the 6 to 8kilo mark before returning them all back in the big pond. started berlieing harder at about 8am which i spotted a remorer feeding on it under the boat. while watching this fish under the boat i saw a spanish mackerel cruise under us which looked about 20kilo. we wound in 2 lines then sent 2 pillies on wire rigs straight down when 1 was hamered by the spaniard. after 10 minutes my mate was getting buggered fighting him and the fish threw the hooks with some slack line from trying to pass the rod around another. that will do me for another season on the pelagics till christmas time
