queensland Noosa river

Date fished: 9th of April, fished Boat based, lure-fishing.

WE fished out of canoes and boats and all togeather we landed 3 flatties 1 diamond back trevally and a 40cm Giant Trevally, also landbased we got 1 queenfish.

sounds like you had some fun... the noosa river was good on sunday the 7th of may with 11 fish caught between the 3 of us on sp... angus is posting a report later today (may 8) about it so wont give too much away

noosa river is an underestimated fishing spot, there are alot of big fis around. when i was last up there my neighbor caught a 68cm mangrove jack in lake weyba NOTE** he was land based. how solid is that.

Yeah man there are plenty of Jacks in teh channel between Weyba and the river proper.

If we go up to noosa to see you in September we should get a pontoon boat for a day and hit that up big time.

Im hirring a polycraft boat foir a week its so much cheaper u have to pay for your fuel and u get it 9-5 for 7 days, so i'll be making the most of that.... plenty of big fish
