mate im a hands on guy.

i build all the computers in my house, i fix the telephones, gate remote controls, remotes, my mom's broken jewellery...

i opened the reel the other day to have a look... but for some reason i could get it fully opened... and i didnt wanna force it and end up breaking it... so i reassembled it and left it alone...

i really love my reel... and i dont wanna screw it up... hence the urge to get it done professionally...

cheers

The rotor nut on a few reels unscrew in a clockwise direction. I found this on an older reel. If you wanted to give it another shot, here are a couple of great articles:

if you're a fan of yum cha in sunnybank you might have passed their shop B)

there's a corner tackleshop / custom rod builder on mains road in sunnybank ... near Macca's ...

they service reels and are approved reel service persons ... overheard while waiting to ask a question  ...

like the other's i service me reels myself ... easy to disassemble .. a pain to assemble for "unco" like me ... but me reels cost no more than $80 ... so its not worth it for me to send for professional service
