we have lost rods and got them back at low tide ,and if the water was clear and not to deep dived for them and got them.

but never had the luck to catch them back with another rod and hook them up.that's got to be karma.

hey davo i dont think either of us would have jumped in the water with it at 18deg and dropping lol might cause a bit of shrinkage

funny thing was i hooked it and a crab pot on a $2 ebay lure lol, so on the 1 lure i made a return of about $120 in found goods lol before it got caught on another mystery thing on the bare bottom and had to snap it off...possibly another crab pot, but feeling the bottom with the oar all we could feel was small gravel so no idea what it was hooked on :?

Great catch! my mate caught a shitty old fishing reel in tingalpa creek once that was a laugh. I guess someone was having a bad day with there reel lol

cheers, if your ever out off moolloolaba and bring up an abu 7000, it's probably mine, also if your off fraser and land a 950ss penn spinning reel or 2, fair bet they will be mine too! :laugh: did have a bit of a temper back in those days.

i had some trouble with them, and birds nest with the abu. they were thrown as far away from the boat as possible. funny how everyone on the boat went quiet too. :laugh:

i was ropable for days after i lost it, but bloody determined to keep trying to find it, travis thought it was gone for all money, there was a little voice in the back of my head telling me otherwise, a bit of rubbish stuck to it, buy hey!
