hey guys i would love to be in the comp on the weekend but might get low on fuel coming back and forth from straddie and would like to know how u guys refuel out in the bay i think it will be hard to with the rock of the boat ect,and what kind of equipment you use to do this is there anything special you use. brad

with great dificulty.

Invest in a good syphone pump. (Worth its weight in Gold)

Ive tried pouring it in via a funnel. Fuel everywhere. in boat in water (What a disaster)

Ive also run out of oil in the reservoir under the cowel of the outboard. I can tell you its not much fun taking off the cowel. and standing out on the pod balancing trying to pour oil into the reservoir in a lumpy sea.

Was more scared about loosing several huindred $$$ worth of cowel overboard.

isnt there on water fuel pumps at manly harbour

most marinas have them

just pull up to the jetty and use the pump

jerry cans brad. you know the plunger to pump up fuel to your motor, and 1 mtr of hose either side a few pumps and sit it where the cutting board is on my boat, 2 mins later and all done and ready to go again. :woohoo:

thats an idear rob so this works hey.

also have a jiggler, just yell out if you want either for the weekend, the syphon thing, jiggler or fuel drums.

it works well no fuel close to hands at all, and so easy.

yes ray 130lts but if the forcast is good the wife wants to do a trip to morten
