My personal favourite event of the year.

For those that have never been this is an awesome social event with plenty of good fish everytime. For those have been there is a slight variation to the format which should make the event better we feel.

Hope to see a good turn out!

There is a the chance of some more prizes being added to the pool as well (quality Shimano Reels) but it will simply come down to numbers.

Any suggestions for the novice on fresh water?

I have really only fished live & bait salt/estuary.

Have no idea what to pack in my kit for the weekend to target bass.

Are there a couple of must haves?

A light spinning rod is all you need Mooky.

But you dont even need that as we provide rods and reels and tackle.

BYO lures though.

But there are live shrimp provided which almost gauruntee fish.

Alright guys. Still trying to rally the troops for this.

Looks like we have 20 confirmed so far.

Ideally 30 is the figure. A surprisingly low number of people have signed up with there own boats... Compared to usual anyway.

Steve was mentioning if we can bream that 30 mark there is a chance we will get some more prizes from Shimano :) But they are paid for prizes not direct sponsorship products hence the required figures.

So to anyone that has never been to this event, it is a corker! Always a good time and a lot of fish caught.

And to those already coming, rustle up some mates!

Cheers

Don't forget the ginger wine and no sleeping on the back of the ute when you have a comfy bunk (will mention no name).

Man have fun guys. If I didn't have my end of Fin year ball I'd be there with bells and whistles on.

For anyone that has not learned how to fillet a fish properly, this is great chance to learn and practice. Plenty of fish to be filleted at the end of the day for an awesome fish and chip dinner.
