queensland Hinterland freezing

Spent a couple of days down in the hinterland helping the eldest son pot some plants from his current address before he sells up to move to his new paradise. Well it is when its not so cold, this is what we were greeted with on friday morning

As the days warmed up it got a little easier to survive

Gee Dino, being retired means you can stay in bed when it looks like that outside! Get up at the more civilised time of morning tea!

But like a true angler I managed to soldieron and overcome the cold and the clear water to just get on the board and keep my pants on with some of these on s/baits

It was bloody cold and had frost on my lawn in coomera as well. Good dedication to get out there brave the conditions and get the reward. It is usually this time of year I see the most vicious surface strikes out of bass too which gets the blood pumping again.
