hey guys,

has anyone caught a fish on Lucky Craft® Live Pointer Hardbaits, i have one but have caught nothing so far.

what would be the best fish to target.

wow - very weird looking lure... Kindof a popper mixed in with a shallow diver with a bendy tail? Lucky Craft do make good lures but certain lures / colours are better suited to overseas where they have different fish. Im not saying you cant catch a fish on it but it wouldn't be a lure I would choose readily..

Rather than drilling yourself to catch a fish on that specific lure. Grab afew small profile minnow lures (less than 45mm long) in some natural baitfish style colours and throw them around instead would be my advice.. Your a chance of anything then!

At that size, probably Cod, Jacks and Flathead would be some of your main targets

just had a look on the lucky craft website, and they come in 80, 95, 110 mm.

i rekon the 80 mm would be killer for bass at dawn & dusk when the fish are just sub surface feeding

Be pretty good on Mangrove jacks, Cod, Trevally, Tailor, Queenys and the odd thready or Jew I reckon. Where did you buy it and how much?

from a website called basspro.com, cost about 26.00 us, but a lot more over here. find a tackle store that stocks lucky craft and see if they can order them in. that's if your interested.

those are awesome lures. we use em here for large mouth bass and stiped bass and white bass. awesome action too. of course our largemouth and striped bass do tend to eat whole trout also. but they work for a number of species here.
