Mate have not really seen a report since the temp dropped.

But im sure there are always some there.

Saw some footage from not to long ago actaully taken from the city reaches of a couple of sharks getting caught on live bream.

GOod luck if you give it a crack.

you can give kookaburra park or priors pocket lake a go through winter for the sharks, just be prepared to wait a while for a run, they are still there and they still have to eat but the just slow down a bit, i have been thinking of giving priors pocket a go ,, as i have had success the last 2 years in winter.

sharks are everywhere in general so it doesnt matter when or where you go... if there is salt water then a shark will pass through at some time that day.

As for the city sharking, I've spoken to blokes that go the the bend in the river at north quay with full on overhead rigs and gimbles, they catch some monster sharks right there. Besides the dirt and pollution in the river, my number one reason for not swimming in it is the sheer number of sharks that lurk in there. We've seen one right at the very top of the river near the crosby wall and that is just about fresh water at that point.

The sharks are still through out the river in good numbers its just that they are a little less active. The local teenage boys that live down the road from me have been catching them at the junction in the arfternoon last saw the boys coming home on monday they got 3 sharks between 4 rods.
