i just managed to get a gps mark and it seems to be missing the last digit the both s and east so i put a 0 on the missing digit and it seems to be in the right area were i got it from has other ones with all the digits and some are missing the last what do u guys make of this,i think if its a 0 on the end of both they leave it out would like your imput.brad

Because the rounding is generally removal of the zero from the front.

Easy enough to tell. Just check how far off the right spot the mark is. 05 seconds verses 50 seconds (biggest possible gap if it is seconds and not decimal minutes) is about 1250m

01 verses 10 seconds (smallest possible gap) about 250m

Dang did it again, the edit and quote buttons are to close for my old eyes, fixed it up!

If there are 3 numbers at the end, then the last value is "decimal minutes" not seconds. By going to 3 decimal places it gives accuracy down to around 1m. Multiply the end bit by 60 and round off to a whole number to get seconds.
