just wondering if anyone knows a lure maker to make some hand crafted h/b lures it would be good to throw some ideas ive got into some custom designs and colours

Theres a guy who sells handmade lures every weds and friday nights at the market at surfers paradise,i have a number somewhere.

hey mate generally just stickk with the natural colours if not sure....they always seem to work...from my experiecne anyways.... :laugh:

Mate if you travel down the coast they have those markets at surfers paradise along the beach. I think they are on every second friday or something. There is a guy there that sells heaps of hand crafted hard bodied lures. They sell a fair few of them so i am thinking they must do well. I purchased myself one, but i have not had the chance to actually use it yet.

similar to a manns stretch 5+? or more like a sx40-60

i have made a manns copy that was a killer on flathead and trevally in the coomera river.

i saw a doco once on Malcolm Douglas up in the nt, he made a hand made lure out of the top of a milo tin, got the foil and scrunched it into the shape of a bait fish and next minute had one massive barramundi hooked up....talk about being thrifty.
