I dont reckon it will make any difference. There have already been a few threaddie articles in other magazines and a few large write ups in the likes of Bush & Beach and QFM.

The larger part of threaddy captures will still come from those putting in the hours to ge them.

This always seems to be the way with "ground breaking" fishing articles.

It really sucks that the release rate of the bigguns is so low! Everyone wants that 1m+ but once you've hooked it you more or less know that if you end up getting it boat side it's going to die..

not necessarily. we take on average 1 fish a week out of 10-20 fish we release. that cant be too bad.

i don't mind the magazine letting people where and how to catch these fish or any other species as where would we all be if someone didn't show us the ropes on new spots or fish species. you might stumble upon them but i've never been one for secret spots that will go to my grave .
