queensland Scarby Snapper Sunday (I hope!)

My truly beloved is having a 'girls night' Saturday, so being the sensitive new age guy that I am, I will make myself scarce early Sunday so as not to disturb her rest and recuperation.

Weather gods willing, I will kayak around the reefs off Queens Beach from sunrise. The plan is to troll hardbody lures while watching the sounder. When I find stuff, then I will bounce plastics around.

I have a spare yak if someone wants to tag along and are yakless.

If weather is poo, then I may hit an impoundment or gold coast canals, depends on wind.

mmmmm gold coast canals , have you ever fished lake intrepid for the tarpon and giant herring and trevs and jew? i have not worked the canals in a while now but have caught some cracker fish from intrepid!

Never done Intepid. Never come home empty handed from any Goldy canal session.

Went to put the battery on charge and found the positive teminal corroded off.

Going to have to fish the old fashioned way without a fishfinder. Oh well, hopefully I'll stumble onto the fish!
