Easy Peasy Crumbed Snapper

At the last Bass social it was surprising to see the number of people who didnt know how or had just not crumbed fish before.

I reckon crumbed fish is an awesome snack. Its a good thing to do to thawed out fish as well that might not still retain that super fresh taste.

Anyway thought id share my favourite little technique.

Picture: I like to use two breads. This is some sour dough and some rye. Its great to chuck your bread ends in the freezer for just these occasions.

Break up the bread and blend. I also add some herbs (rosemary, oregano) at this point which adds a great flavour and smell when shallow frying.

Flour first.

The the egg wash (Egg, milk, salt and pepper).

Then the crumbs.

Wallah.

Ready to shallow fry.

Shallow fry in oil and butter until golden brown.

Served with gems, vege and a dill and parsley mayo.
