bilge probs

hey there, the other day our bilge pump was declared cactus, bought a new one, now the pipe has decided to snap right at the top and wedged itself in the hole, where the water pumps out at the bowside of the boat. Just curious if anyone here has had the same problem and where did you go to buy special bilge pipe..without paying the earth? any help appreciated.

bcf have it in a couple of sizes at a per m price

Whitworths or Bias Boating much cheaper than BCF but depends how far you have to travel but check their on catalogue and you will be able to workout what you need and get an idea of pricing.

I had to replace the bilge for the bait tank a few months ago, after making a few calls, it was cheaper to buy one from the one of the ebay stores in america, even after shipping the cost it was around 30% cheaper than the prices at bcf/whitworths/bias

Given that some brands have rediculously long warranties when sold in Aus I would be paying a little extra locally. I had a johnson die after about 5yrs of neglect and they replaced the motor under warranty.
