Sorry fella's probably have this in the wrong area, but was after some advice.

I have some fellow fishers coming from Sydney and they want me to take them Salmon fishing in the Brissy river after they have read all the reports on this web site.

I know you won't give you locations away but if anyone can push me in the right direction that would be highly appreciated. Where is the Pooshoot?

I have a boat so no problems there, but if anyone can point me in the right direction for good ramps on the north side or in the river itself.

i would launch at pikenba then mate, live bait around the wharfs and you should be with a chance and also the pillons at the mouth of boggy too.

hit the drop off at the mouth of boggy level with pilon 99 of the pipeline

you want to be anchored on the slope of the drop off, the top is 5m bottom is 15m

live herring fished on the bottom is best for threadfin

pinkenbah would be your best ramp
