Anchor wells

Hey guys was looking to install an anchor well in my dory but having difficulties deciding on what type to cut into the bow or if i should do it all. Some ideas would be great!!!! Are they useful???

apart from the colour,same as mine.

Upside..you can store both bow and aft anchors in it where ever you want in the boat,when trailering.

When on the water I use rocket launches,aluminium tubing welded to bow rails,no need to cut into bow and less work and cost involved.Can also use when trailering.

to my underatanding that section of a boat is used as a strengthening gusset

Depending on age of your boat cutting it imo would reduce strength and void warranty if it is a newish hull

Is there room to build a false floor and go for under floor storage?
