queensland jew in the canefields

was up a mates place last week up the coast and he took me to this tiny little creek only about 3 mtrs wide. he said he has been getting jew in there..upon arrival i was doubtful as we were way inland and this creek looked tiny!

but he got one..not huge but he swears there are bigger ones there..the squidgy flickbaits worked on this one.

i learnt a lesson, that jew can be in the smallest creek way inland!

its a creek that runs into the maroochy river.

Nothing surprises me anymore I think in those creeks bait would accumulate. Anywhere that happens I reckon fish like jew, jacks and flatties can occur regardless of water size.
