AFO Christmas Party - 7th November

Howdy all.

Ok just want a general show of hands.

Who would be interested in attending this years BFo X-Mas shin dig. Or possinly Ho down.

It will most likely be similar to last year with a BBQ at an Inner city pub followed by drinking and merry making. Partners are of course welcome.

For anyone that didnt attend last years, it was great!

It will most likely be like $15 for the BBQ and just a cash bar to make it as easy as possible.

Kick off will around lunch time and will go until it closes or we will get kicked out.

The more people we get the better the "Private Area" we will get will be.

Last year was sweet at the RE with the Verandah and a Pool Room to ourselves.

my poor hands .

that first thing in the morning before any work and a day off work too.

they get washed in thinners then hand cleaner at the end of the day.

then when i have a shower at night i scrub then with the brush and soap .

it takes about 2 weeks of not working and scrubbing to get them back to a skin colour with no black on.

Hopefully here back some more news from the contacted venues today after work.

Was also eying off the Bulimba Sailing Sqaudron hall for hire. Apparantly they put on a feed as well.

Could be a nice alternative and on the river...

Count me in, I think the Bulimba venue would be ideal given the amount of action it has been seeing recently. Pulled in what appeared to be a baby thready last night down there. Will post once Aiden gets hit arse in gear and emails me the pic, interested to compare with the one Angus caught on Saturday night.
