Tybo
No offence, but he looks too young to own a Stradic and a Loomis. I guess he takes his fishing very seriously. Great fish though, isn't there a farm down there somewhere, an escapee maybe?

chris_stewart14
Thats some seriously exciting stuff... I have heard afew recent reports of Barra and obviously there are more and more getting around. From Wes's acouple of years ago to Yo yo losing acouple recently they are obviously popping up in more numbers and I guarantee there aren't that many people with Barra in home tanks letting them free in the river which means they are breeding Could make for an exciting Summer as the warmer weather should fire up whatever population exists.. Gotta love South East Qld. Chris
yoyo
well the good thing about the species is that, regardless of size, if a small (in numbers and physical size) population develops then one of the males will turn into a female. Prob very impotant to keep this in mind if you happen to catch one, you cant just think "oh it's only XXcms long so it must be a male, i'll keep it..." It may very well be a small breeding female....
