rayke1938
Got up a bit early and launched at Cilmslie where I timed it just right in between the lifesavers etc. Threw the cast for a bit. It was pertty hard going . Ended up with one poddy and 14 herring. Went down stream and caught 4 rays and a shovie over a space of 3 hours and was down to my last livey when i caught a thready on a 2inch herring so said thats it and headed off home. Cheers Ray one of the rays. didnt keep it for kiara. rusty looking shovie The threadie. jakhunta
nice work on the threadie. that shovel sure has unusual colouring. A friend tells me his uncle whips the fillets of them and fries them up in grape see oil and it tastes beautiful. Cant say that Ive ever thought of trying it though. natang
Ray that is a great looking Threadie. Shovels taste great as long as you bleed them straighat away through the tail then put some Onion and tomatoe with the meat!
