Cub kookaburra Camper Trailer

Been on the lookout for a camper for a couple of weeks and found you have to be quick for anything cheap and respectable.

We had decided on a cub flip over type for ease of towing and simplicity of set up.

I got back from fishing at NPD on saturday and had just settled down for a cuppa at 4pm and saw a cub advertised in the online section of the Trading Post . The add was only a couple of hours old so a quick phone call to Yandina and yes it was still available and I was the first caller.

Another call to wife who is up in ESH visiting daughter for approval and off I went.

Arrived just on dark and paid a deposit and am picking up this morning.

It is in very good condition.Very basic with no cupboards etc but we will only be using for weekend trips. Will have to make a couple of mods such as installing gas struts and winch as its quite heavy to flip over. It already has racks to carry yak.

more photos when I bring it home.

Cheers

No need to fit gas struts I had no problem erecting by myself.

Will probably extend draw bar to make room for box on front.

the anexxe and tarp will go into the proposed front box.
