Braid or mono on a baitcaster?

I've been given a Penn Generation V75 for a Job I did a while back. Anyway my other baitcasters have various sized monos and I am thinking of running 8lb fireline black or finns, on this one. Does braid go alright on baitcasters?

Hey man my choice would be braid and use fins as it's round and goe's on very easy baitcasters but thats all I use now on all my reals spin and baitcaster's

I am not familiar with the reel model, but all my baitcaster have braid, ranging from 8lb to 30kilo. Mono is alright on baitcasters, but braid is better. (Kids baitcasters have mono for bait fishing)

I've been using fireline for about 12 months now and I reckon its good, only black 6 and 8lb any heavier is crap.

on bc? once you start using better braids there is really no going back to fireline
