whitting and bream

hi im wondering some good spots to catch some good size whitting and bream.

any spots would be okay except i dont have a boat so i would be fishing from land.

For both whiting and bream I fish near the nerang river bridge, sunrise or sundown. Use a sinker big enough to hold bottom but still move with the current, light trace of 50cm and a small long shank hook. Fishing at night also reportably produces some catches of big whiting. I have found the best baits to be live beach/blood worms or small yabbies. jelly prawns are also popular

the mouth of lota and tingalpa creek are good spots about half tide on the way out where you can walk down on to the banks from lota and just near here the manly water tower bait and tackle shop sell live blood worm which will work a treat

I caught some nice sand whiting in the 25-28cm range on beachworms at the Gold Coast Broadwater but that was during the week when there weren't many noisy boats and jetskis about.
