queensland threadfin only in brisbane river?

hi, am wondering if anyone have caught threadie somewhere else other than brisbane river. i've seen many people have got in brisbane river but haven't heard the story that someone get them at pine river, schulz canal, logan river or other places in brisbane. why are they only in brisbane river? or there are plenty of them in other places?

ive heard stories of people catching them at kookaburra park , but have never seen for myself

I can confirm 4 others from other systems in the region, seen them caught myself, the best went 105cm.

kooka park is still the Bris river.

Yep... they are in almost every other river around the brisbane area according to reports here.

a mate of mine got one down the pin but noosa river is another good spot as the prawns migrate down stream from lake cootharaba into the deeper waters anchor up close to the steep bank below the drain with a bucket full of live prawns and hold on

cool, seems threadies are everywhere. so prawns are the key to threadies.

what about mooloolar river and maroochy river?
