resolved Fish ID / Size Limits / Bag Limits

quite a few new members ask about fish id , sizes etc and i know there are some sites out there that have all this in them so could we inbed the sites that show that here or better still do we already have a link to that now on the home page

i agree it's all a quick click away, however i think purchasing a rod and reel at your local shop should also include picking up a $5 guide. they are always at the counter, that way all the info is always on hand if required.

we have been meaning to have this information on this site for a long time. Guess it just comes down to time. We do hope to provide this information to the community to make it easier to find and know.

Good point,something is better than nothing

but people also need to be aware that guides available at the various outlets are condensed regulations and lists of the commonly caught fish, and are only correct(hopefully) at the time of printing,and changes can/do occur through out the year that obviously would not be in the current guide.

Government policy..the onus is on the fisher to be aware of ALL regulations.

If they keep adding to the regulations, we will need to take a designated regulations interpretor each time we go fishing :ohmy:
