no idea on the salt variety of worms around brissy......but hey if u eva need some earth worms u can come harvest some from my grass clippings pile! some are deadset snakes!

you can try along the foreshore at wynnum your best chance is any where in the seagrass but make sure you walk out at least 100mt to avoid trouble with the law
