Is there anywhere or anyone on the northside i can buy live bait from,I've tried to catching it but had no luck.

Are you allowed to catch live bait to re sell,not sure ???.

some bait shops sell live yabbies and blood worms as for fish you got to catch that yourself try buying some bait jigs ,squid jigs and a bit dearer yabbie pump and cast net and you can catch a huge selection of live bait

Get a cast net mate. I bought one a while back (just a 6 footer to start) and it was frustrating at first, but I finally got the hang of it. Then it's all about scouting about to find your fish. I'm land based, so probably a bit harder, but I've already found a spot that produces quite well.

This is the best educational vid I've found. Topspin-forehand being the key phrase that got me throwing good casts.
