aidanwebb
Hey Guys looking to fish the SeaWay split Landbased this weekend. Any spots recommended? Never fished there, should I just walk up and down the rock wall by the beach to the point? Could you target Jacks there or would they be further up rivers? mick fillet
If I were fishing the spit land based I would have a crack at a few flaties along the beach section and in and around where the boats anchor up in that little bay. I would also try floating pillies along the rock wall to see If I could rise any mid water strikes. would also try using a paternoster style rig and cast out to the beacon in the seaway for some tarwhine there pritty thick there at times. The current roars through there so take good size leads. Fish the sand pumping jetty. Use a bait jig and try and rustle up a few livies from around the pillons and chuck them out for bait off the jetty.
