queensland Little carp session before moving

Hey guys

Went for a little session down at my creek yesterday before moving houses to ipswich in a few days.

Caught 2 carp both off the surface, and were both around 40cm.

Hi Dan,

nice catch. I also like carp fishing. I grown up in Germany, we have them everywhere. My biggest one was 11kg but saw alread 15kg fish. I would like to give it a trail here. Does somebody know some good locations. Looking for places where the waterflow is slow till none but not just a small creek.

Area Brisbane + 30km.

if you want a spot to catch carp try the park on Bega & kingston rds. at Kinsgton.

you'll see a football field on the left if you are coming from Brisbane, turn left at the roundabout. you can park your car within meters of the creek. It actually opens up to a good size little dam. I've caught carp to 2kg here.It is very still water.
